Due to his show schedule, the 2026 breeding season is February 2 - June 10th for shipped cooled semen. On-site breeding will continue through June 20th or later using fresh or frozen semen, and we will ship frozen semen after June 10 if an owner prefers that alternative to receiving a 2027 rebreed automatically.

We purchased “Swayze” in February 2019 as the NEXT LEVEL for our breeding program - to cross on our Cats Royal Boon and Bob Hes Quick daughters.

But he is just too fun for us to keep to ourselves.

He is next-level physical with so much charisma and personality. Add this to his flawless conformation, great bone, kind soul, and unstoppable work ethic. Typical of the top side of his family tree, he is exceptionally talented, very cowy, a hard stopper, etc., but the bottom side gave him something vital too. He is also highly trainable, VERY VERSATILE, a friendly and sweet gentleman, and has a heart so huge it barely fits in his body.

This combination is truly something special. It is an excellent combination.

His sire line is known for passing on heritable traits.

You go to a Cutting or RCH show, and it won’t take you long to peg the Once In A Blu Boon-bred horses.

He is just beginning his sire career, but it is already apparent that “Swayze” is true to this strong sire line and passing on a lot more than a cool set of registration papers.

It means the world to us that our 5-year-old daughter is his biggest fan, calling him her unicorn. He loves to play that role with a gentle and steady demeanor, toting her all over shows and here at the ranch. He is her lesson horse—teaching our next generation how to ride.
