REINED COW HORSE DELUXE ~ CAN BE TRAINED FOR VERSATILITY

2-Rein Eligible - Never been shown in a bridle!!

Read to the end - it’s worth it. If you're looking for a very well-trained, fluid-moving, no-holes, open caliber horse that's also ambitious, NP-friendly, how’d I get so lucky to find this horse - well, surprise!

Cajun is a big, strong, stylish gelding with a great mind. He is a beautiful mover and loaded with talent. He is ready to start his 2-Rein year NEXT year. He has a very nice start in the bridle as part of his current tune-up.

If you like 14.3H typically happy beefcake geldings, with sweet, “surfer dude” souls and a big motor, huge stops, and no quit, he could be your lifetime horse.

Cajun is 6-panel n/n by parentage with impeccable manners - easy to haul, shoe, bathe, saddle, catch, etc. Absolutely no vices.

This gelding is drastically underpriced considering the caliber of horse and the training time and energy that have been put into him.

Due to limited time, our personal horses sometimes take a backseat to training horses for showing, and at this point, Jason is not going to start hauling and showing him down the fence in the bridle this late in the year (ruining a big year next year for someone). All of this is factored into his price already.

Cajun appreciates a light hand and a good seat (just like all horses) and does best with a confident rider because his moves on a cow, while very smooth and comfortable to sit, can be big. For this reason, we would not recommend him for a beginner/novice rider. He is cool, fun, and very exciting to ride for an accomplished person.

His heart of gold and uncanny smarts come from his dam (HER ARTICLE IN HORSE & RIDER - you will have to scroll down a little to get to it on the page).

Cajun is the 1st foal from a now repeat match of Kikiquejana - daughter of Quejanaisalena (LTE 338k) and our red roan stallion, Bob Hes Quick (x Bet Hesa Cat).

Cajun has also spent a considerable amount of time out on the ranch and roping at brandings. He stays trained, even with extended periods of time off.

Jason would be happy to continue his bridle horse training for his new folks at a discounted rate.

During heavy show seasons, because Cajun gives his all, he enjoys (and deserves) a chiro appointment or two. We also have all our show horses on as needed regular maintenance IRAP injections, which we would be happy to discuss with interested parties.

LTE is ~ $1000 in Working Ranch Horse & NRCHA with extremely limited showing.

INCENTIVES:

DRY WORK Video - 7/28/2025 - Jason is 6’2” with a 38” inseam.

COW WORK - 8/21/2025

Teaser video taken 5/31/2025: BAREFOOT, 2nd ride ever in a real bridle, 2nd ride after sitting for at least 75 days (we’ve been swamped) - this is just him, with the right style rider. We have way too many other obligations, and he is obviously way too lovely to waste away on the Kansas plains.
