This smart and stout mare has a stacked pedigree full of performers, so don’t let her size fool you. She is the kind. Yes, 13.3h might seem small, but when you look at the videos, remember Jason is 6’2” and all leg. This mare has also never lost a cow down the fence, so she will get you where you need to be with the required speed for any event you put before her. Her substantial bone, great muscle, and huge heart round out this little fun-size fireball nicely. Her years of training, ranch work, and the overachiever mindset her pedigree dictates set her up for years of success in any deserving program. You will never regret owning a horse like this. Or breeding her later if you desire.
Grace was started on time and never missed a beat there, but sadly took 2nd fiddle to several training horses her age for trailer spots, so she didn’t get hauled/shown as much as we would have liked. Despite being show green, she has won a few small NRCHA Open L1 Futurity/Derby checks at the 3 NRCHA shows she attended. All said, LTE is approx. $1700 including AQHA Ranching Heritage and NRCHA earnings. This does not include anything she has won in the Legendary Stakes incentive. She is qualified for all the AQHA Ranching Heritage Finals Classes in the Open Division for 2027.
She has good manners for the farrier, bathing, catching, tying, saddling, etc. No vices, UTD on everything.
Her resume also includes the branding pen and days working our cattle ranch.
We purchased both her parents as long yearlings, trained and showed them both. Her dam is our NRCHA/AQHA earning Im Countin Checks daughter (Ginger). Sire is Bob Hes Quick (x Bet Hesa Cat). Her pedigree is full of talented, smart, trainable horses that have been successful in many events. She is no different.
Jason would be happy to keep her in training if her new owners wish. We do offer that at a discount on our sale horses.
