If you are looking for a big, pretty, fancy moving young gelding to Futurity in Roping or possibly barrels, take a look at Otis. He has a solid cow horse foundation and is loaded with talent and try. He is cowy, has lots of rate & explosive speed. Jason is currently focusing some of his training rides on a roping future in addition to RCH/VRH. He is behind for RCH futurities - reflected in his price, and the reason we are willing to part with him.

“Otis” is 15h at the withers and 15.1h at the hips. He will likely reach 15.2h at maturity. He has a strong build, excellent bone, an elegant neck, and beautiful gaits. He can be a little quirky on the ground at times (no setting back or dangerous behavior - looky etc), due to being young and green. He gets better every day. We have not hauled him anywhere, so he hasn’t had a chance to grow up on the road like our other young horses. This is also already reflected in his price.

Great feet - always been barefoot. Good manners for farrier, bathing, catching, tying, saddling, etc. No vices, UTD on everything. Vaccinations & dental done in March, and always had excellent nutrition.

His dam was our much-loved daughter of Bandera Boonsmal, whom we both showed successfully, and he is by our red roan stallion, Bob Hes Quick (x Bet Hesa Cat).

Jason would be happy to continue his training for his new folks at a discounted training rate.
