2006 AQHA Red roan mare

Sold! off to Massachusetts to be a barrel/penning/sorting horse

Skyfire Gypsy (Quick) is a fun, athletic, cowy, big hearted, talented, quick footed, and BEAUTIFUL powerhouse, with a heck of a handle; making her a great competition horse. She can truly do it all.  This mare is an absolute blast for confident riders that have good balance and soft hands.  She is all heart, and very easy to ride, but of the cow eating variety which may intimidate some riders.

Open level and winning $$ in Sorting & Penning.   In her last 4 shows with Jason (RSNC Regionals Finals, a big RMTPA show in Estes Park,  RMTPA Finals, & RSNC NE State Finals) she pulled in 7 class wins, (2) 2nds, & (4) 3rds to the tune of 3 buckles, a championship ring, a saddle, and over $4475 in earnings, not to mention multiple other top 10 finishes. 2016 High Money Earning Horse for Kansas with RSNC.

She also has training in Working Cow Horse & Versatility and has been started Roping (would take almost nothing to finish in Heeling, Break-away, and Calf Roping). She can go many different directions. Jason starts everything with a Reining foundation, so she has nice flying lead changes, stops, and spins.

Do you work cattle out on a ranch?  She will be your go to for the toughest ugliest ranch jobs.  Quick has been used extensively on the ranch: head, heel, drag, hold, gather, sort, cover the country etc. We have also worked calves in the tub and alley way while branding on her many times too.

Quick has striking good looks that will get you noticed as she takes you to the pay window.  With a soft mouth and smooth easy moves, she is a VERY athletic mare with plenty of speed and a beautiful sliding stop.   She has a heart of gold and will go the extra mile to please.  She responds to aids quickly and effortlessly with a naturally low head set. Her Foundation breeding gives her that beautiful, stout QH frame we all love so much.   Sound (never injected, no maintenance needed), No Vices, and UTD on everything. 14.2HH and stout. Double registered AQHA and FQHR (95.5%).

Current X-rays on file with vet who is more than happy to talk to SERIOUS buyers.

Eligible to compete in the AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenges

Bred here, raised here, trained here.  Call Jason or CJ with questions, she is one of our favorites and will make a splash wherever she goes.

We have a great facility to ride inside and out, on cows etc.  She is worth A LOT more than we are asking, priced to sell quickly.
